The just-released 2025 Kawasaki Ultra 160 LX-S Angler – the brand’s entry in the booming fishing Jet Ski market – has been discounted by $4000 less than six months after going on sale in Australia.
The dedicated fishing model went on sale locally mid-2025 priced from $29,049 (ski only, excluding trailer and registration).
However the recommended retail price climbs to $30,807 (ski only, excluding trailer and registration) once Kawasaki Australia’s arbitrary dealer delivery fee of $1758 is applied.

At Sea-Doo and Yamaha WaveRunner showrooms in Australia, the cost to unbox and prepare each ski prior to customer delivery is usually absorbed by the dealership – or is a nominal fee of about $300.
At the full RRP of $30,807, the Kawasaki Ultra 160 LX-S Angler is dearer than the fishing models from Sea-Doo and Yamaha (see below), with the exception of the limited-edition supercharged Sea-Doo Fish Pro Apex, which is almost sold out.

The current discount of $4000 – running from 1 November 2025 to 31 December 2025 – brings the price of the 2025 Kawasaki Ultra 160 LX-S Angler to a more realistic RRP of $26,807 (ski only, excluding trailer and registration).
Kawasaki is the last of three major brands to introduce a dedicated fishing model in Australia, but it appears to have not quite hit the mark in its first six months on sale here.

Kawasaki Jet Ski dealers canvassed by Watercraft Zone said there was modest interest from customers and, therefore, most showrooms were reluctant to hold much stock of the Angler.
The $4000 discount on the Kawasaki Ultra 160 LX-S Angler joins significant savings across the rest of the Kawasaki Jet Ski range, as per this table below from the Kawasaki Australia website.
