The Kawasaki Jet Ski Centre in Newcastle has joined a growing number of personal watercraft dealers offering sharp discounts to coincide with the 2026 Sydney Boat Show – without the expense of attending the main event.
All three major Jet Ski brands – Sea-Doo, Yamaha WaveRunner and Kawasaki Jet Ski – have boycotted the 2026 Sydney Boat Show amid rising exhibitor costs and a preference for reaching customers via more affordable means such as social media.

Sea-Doo will be the sole personal watercraft brand represented at the 2026 Sydney Boat Show – but that is thanks to the attendance of Lake & Valley Powersports, a major independent Sea-Doo dealer, rather than Sea-Doo corporate.
Yamaha WaveRunner is absent from the show after running a discount campaign at selected Yamaha dealers in NSW in the lead-up to the event earlier this month.
And Kawasaki Australia currently has no formal factory-backed offers on its Jet Ski line-up.

Above: Kawasaki is the only Jet Ski brand in Australia to offer a five-year factory warranty.
However, the Kawasaki Jet Ski Centre in Newcastle has just announced a special promotion due to run from 30 July to 8 August 2026 – which covers and extends beyond the 2026 Sydney Boat Show dates.
Unlike the recent deals offered by Sea-Doo and Yamaha, the Newcastle Kawasaki Jet Ski Centre has not specified the savings model-by-model, and instead broadly described discounts “up to $3500 plus a $750 fuel card”, as per the social media post below.
