The 2024 Sea-Doo RXP-X and RXT-X high-performance Jet Skis are poised to receive a 325-horsepower boost thanks to a significant engine overhaul, including a new supercharger.
Sea-Doo claims the new RXP-X has the highest power-to-weight ratio in the Jet Ski world and can accelerate to 60mph (just shy of 100km/h) in about 3.4 seconds.
However, for the time being, the Sea-Doo GTX Limited will retain the previous 300-horsepower version of the 1630cc three-cylinder Rotax engine.
Details shared by Sea-Doo in the US overnight reveal the 1630cc three-cylinder Rotax engine has had a major makeover.
Key changes include a new supercharger, new fuel pump, new electronic control module, new injectors, new air intake, new exhaust manifold and an O2 sensor (to more accurately read the fuel mixture).
The 2024 RXP-X325 also gains the carbon-fibre hood cover and steering damper set-up that debuted with the 2023 Sea-Doo RXP-X300 Apex limited edition.
Both models come with high-performance ‘X’ sponsons (for tighter turns), a polished impeller, extended trim system and launch control for better acceleration.
Both the 2024 Sea-Doo RXP-X 325 RS and the 2024 Sea-Doo RXT-X 325 RS are available in two colour schemes: red-and-white, or grey-and-yellow.
The 2024 Sea-Doo line-up is due in Australian showrooms late this year or early next year.
