A handful of lucky customers in Australia are poised to take delivery of the new 2024 Sea-Doo RXP-X 325 RS – the fastest and most powerful Jet Ski ever sold in Australia – just in time for the summer holidays.
Sea-Doo dealers in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast today received a handful of examples just hours before closing the doors for Christmas.
The first example on the water is believed to have been delivered by Beaches Sea-Doo & CanAm on Sydney’s northern beaches – to its new owner, longtime Sea-Doo fanatic and now Sea-Doo Australia head office employee Seb Bahadourian.
Cronulla Sea-Doo & CanAm in Sydney’s south (pictured below) unboxed two examples, with the first due to be delivered early next week.
It was a familiar story at Melbourne Sea-Doo – and Sea-Doo dealers in Brisbane and the Gold Coast – who unboxed their first examples late today.
Sea-Doo dealers canvassed by Watercraft Zone say they were not expecting the 2024 Sea-Doo RXP-X 325 RS to arrive until the New Year, and were surprised when trucks turned up today.
A number of Sea-Doo dealers (including Melbourne Sea-Doo & CanAm, pictured below) didn’t waste time getting the highly anticipated models unboxed and ready to ride.
More examples are expected to follow after Christmas and into the New Year.
As previously reported, the Sea-Doo RXP-X and RXT-X high-performance Jet Skis receive a 325-horsepower boost for 2024 thanks to a significant engine overhaul, including a new supercharger.
Sea-Doo claims the new RXP-X has the highest power-to-weight ratio in the Jet Ski world and can accelerate to 60mph (just shy of 100km/h) in about 3.4 seconds.
Key changes include a new supercharger, new fuel pump, new electronic control module, new injectors, new air intake, new exhaust manifold and an O2 sensor (to more accurately read the fuel mixture).
The 2024 RXP-X325 also gains the carbon-fibre hood cover and steering damper set-up that debuted with the 2023 Sea-Doo RXP-X300 Apex limited edition.
Both the 2024 RXP and RXT models come with high-performance ‘X’ sponsons (for tighter turns), a polished impeller, extended trim system and launch control for better acceleration.
Both the 2024 Sea-Doo RXP-X 325 RS and the 2024 Sea-Doo RXT-X 325 RS are available in two colour schemes: red-and-white, or grey-and-yellow.
Prices in Australia (excluding trailer and registration) are as follows:
