2025 Sea-Doo GTX Limited gets 325hp, 10.25-inch touchscreen, awesome new colour

Sea-Doo’s luxury flagship – the Sea-Doo GTX Limited – is about to get the 325hp supercharged 1630cc engine from the RXP-X and RXT-X performance models. Plus, the biggest touchscreen ever fitted to a Jet Ski. Here’s everything we know so far.

The 2025 Sea-Doo GTX Limited will adopt the 325 horsepower version of the supercharged 1630cc engine that launched with the Sea-Doo RXP-X and RXT-X performance flagship models last year.

It means there will be three 2025 Sea-Doo models with 325hp – the most powerful engine in the Jet Ski market today.

  • 2025 Sea-Doo RXP-X 325
  • 2025 Sea-Doo RXT-X 325
  • 2025 Sea-Doo GTX Limited 325

The 2025 Sea-Doo GTX Limited 325 marks the first time Sea-Doo’s reverse thrust debris removal system (known as IDF) will be fitted to the 325hp version of the 1630cc engine (previously IDF was only available on less powerful models).

The 2025 Sea-Doo GTX Limited 325 also gains the steering damper set-up that is fitted to the Sea-Doo RXP-X 325 performance flagship (pictured below).

The other big news: the 2025 Sea-Doo GTX Limited 325 will come with the largest touchscreen in the Jet Ski world to date.

It is the same 10.25-inch touchscreen from the CanAm off-road buggy and CanAm Spider three-wheel motorcycle which, as with Sea-Doo, are all part of the BRP Powersports group.

Sea-Doo has developed a new shroud to house the massive touchscreen – plus there are new fingertip controls on the handlebars.

This is designed to give riders the option of touching the screen, or using their fingertips to change or view the various modes in the infotainment screen.

It is the first time Sea-Doo has had a touchscreen on one of its models.

Yamaha’s current generation FX WaveRunner has had a series of 5-inch and 7-inch touchscreens since 2019.

Kawasaki’s latest Ultra series has a digital display, but it is not a touchscreen and is controlled via a dial and buttons on the console.

For now, Apple CarPlay capability has not been activated on Sea-Doo’s 10.25-inch display – even though other BRP models with the same screen have this feature enabled.

It means Apple CarPlay could still be another year or more away from making it onto a Sea-Doo or any other personal watercraft.

The sweeping changes to the 2025 Sea-Doo GTX Limited 325 have driven a $3235 price rise in Australia: to $35,299 for the teal colour (pictured above) and $35,699 for the all-white version (which carries over its colour scheme from 2024).

Meanwhile, although the all-white colour scheme of the Sea-Doo GTX Limited carries over from 2024 into 2025, there is now the option of a new metallic teal colour (pictured above).

Plus, Sea-Doo used the 2025 launch to remind customers most of the accessories from the Fish Pro and Explorer Pro series can be fitted to the GTX platform – as dealer-fit accessories.

Sea-Doo says the first shipments of the 2025 Sea-Doo GTX Limited 325 should be here in time for the Australian summer.
