Kawasaki Jet Ski Australia has introduced an unprecedented discount of $5000 on one of its most popular supercharged models.
The discount of $5000 applies to brand-new 2022- and 2023-build plate examples of the latest-generation Kawasaki Ultra 310 LX-S (pictured below).
It brings the RRP down from $28,738 (ski only) to $23,738 (ski only), excluding additional costs such as trailer and registration.
Although they have been sitting in stock for up to two years, they are still brand-new-out-of-the-box Jet Skis and come with Kawasaki’s full five-year warranty (the longest in the personal watercraft market), which starts from the day of delivery.
The $5000 discount on 2022- and 2023-plated Kawasaki Ultra 310 LX-S will run until the end of October 2024 while stock lasts, according to the Kawasaki Australia website.
The offer is running alongside discounts ranging from $2000 to $3000 on other models in the Kawasaki Jet Ski range – which have been extended to the end of October 2024, while stock lasts.
Kawasaki Australia is now offering $3000 off all brand-new 2022-build Kawasaki Jet Skis, and $2000 off all brand-new 2023-build Jet Skis.
The exception, of course, is the aforementioned $5000 offer on 2022 and 2023-plated examples of the Kawasaki Ultra 310 LX-S.
Previously, all 2022 and 2023 Kawasaki Jet Skis – including SX-R ‘stand-up’, STX 160, Ultra 160 and Ultra 310 models – were eligible for a $2000 discount from 1 February to 30 April 2024.
The $2000 discount offer was initially extended to the end of 31 May 2024. Then it was extended again to 31 July 2024. And then to the end of August 2024.
But from 1 September 2024, Kawasaki announced the current range of discounts listed above as it struggles to clear old stock amid a massive slowdown in Jet Ski sales over the past 18 months.
There are currently no discounts on 2024 Kawasaki Jet Ski models.
As previously reported, all three Jet Ski brands in Australia – Sea-Doo, Yamaha and Kawasaki – have been running discounts for the longest period in memory, as customer demand slows and they struggle to clear stock.
The broad range of discounts mark a significant turnaround following years of stock restrictions and price rises during the global pandemic.
Industry data shows sales of Jet Skis and personal watercraft in Australia hit reverse in 2023 – down by a staggering 24 per cent compared to the prior year.
The year 2022 was an all-time record for Jet Ski and personal watercraft sales in Australia, falling just short of 10,000 deliveries across all three brands – Sea-Doo, Yamaha WaveRunner and Kawasaki Jet Ski.
However, Kawasaki still only has about 5 per cent of the Australian Jet Ski and personal watercraft market – despite the introduction of a new Ultra 160 and a new Ultra 310 over the past two years.
The latest round of discounts have effectively undone the most recent round of Kawasaki Jet Ski price rises – with the exception of the Ultra 160 which is still about $6500 to $8000 dearer than its predecessor due to significant changes associated with the latest model upgrade.
The most recent price rises across the entire Kawasaki Jet Ski line-up in Australia – and the latest discounts – are listed below.
Prices shown exclude trailer and registration – and arbitrary dealer delivery fees (which are negotiable).
While care has been taken to avoid errors, please check pricing with your local Kawasaki Jet Ski dealer.
