Yamaha WaveRunner is the first personal watercraft brand in Australia to launch massive discounts on current 2024 models – including new 1.9-litre-powered variants.
Yamaha has repeated the triple-treat of discounts up to $2000 off, 2.99 per cent finance, and free insurance – all of which can be combined – which previously applied to 2023 stock from mid-April 2024.
Aiming to get a first-mover advantage – before 2025 Yamaha and Sea-Doo models are unveiled in the US in August 2024 – Yamaha’s sharp discounts on 2024 stock comes as Sea-Doo and Kawasaki are still trying to clear 2023 inventory.
The discounts on 2024 Yamaha WaveRunners (excluding trailer and registration) are as follows:
- Yamaha GP1800R SVHO (supercharged 1.8-litre): $2000 off (RRP $30,699, now $28,699)
- Yamaha FX Limited SVHO (supercharged 1.8-litre): $2000 off (RRP $33,799, now $31,799)
- Yamaha FX Cruiser SVHO (supercharged 1.8-litre): $2000 off (RRP $33,499, now $31,499)
- Yamaha FX SVHO (supercharged 1.8-litre): $2000 off (RRP $32,599, now $30,599)
- Yamaha FX Cruiser HO (1.9-litre): $1500 off (RRP $28,299, now $26,799)
- Yamaha FX HO (1.9-litre): $1500 off (RRP $27,399, now $25,899)
- Yamaha GP 19HO (1.9-litre): $1500 off (RRP $24,499, now $22,999)
- Yamaha VX Cruiser HO (1.9-litre): $1500 off (RRP $21,999, now $20,499)
- Yamaha VX Cruiser (1050cc): $1000 off (RRP $20,799, now $19,799)
- Yamaha VX Deluxe (1050cc): $1000 off (RRP $19,099, now $18,099)

The promotion is only available to private buyers of 2024 Yamaha WaveRunners (while stock lasts) purchased between 15 July 2024 and 15 October 2024, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
The 2.99 per cent finance rate is available on all new 2024 Yamaha WaveRunner models on a repayment term of 36 months and includes a $0 application fee, $0 deposit, and a $0 per month account keeping fee.
A dealer administration fee may be charged at the discretion of the dealer. Registration, trailer and accessory costs may be included in the finance application.
Complimentary 12-month Yamaha Motor Insurance is available on all new Marine Comprehensive Insurance policies purchased for 2024 Yamaha WaveRunners between 15 July 2024 and 15 October 2024.
Meanwhile, the previous Yamaha discounts of $1000, $1500 and $2000 on 2023 models – and the 2.99 per cent finance offer and free insurance on 2023 models – are set to expire on 15 August 2024.
However, Yamaha WaveRunner dealers say most – if not all – 2023 stock has already sold out.
