How to win a Yamaha WaveRunner FX HO JetFish edition

Yamaha Australia is giving away a chance to win a new Yamaha WaveRunner FX HO JetFish edition to customers who sign up to Yamaha Insurance or Yamaha Finance by 31 January 2024.

Jet Ski enthusiasts and boaters across Australia have a chance to win a new Yamaha WaveRunner FX HO JetFish edition – with trailer and registration, so it’s ready to go – by signing up to Yamaha Motor Finance or Yamaha Motor Insurance by 31 January 2024.

Signing up to one of the two deals – Yamaha finance or Yamaha insurance – will give customers one ticket in the draw.

But customers who take out Yamaha finance and Yamaha insurance will get three tickets in the draw.

Although Yamaha would presumably prefer customers to take out Yamaha insurance on one of their own products, it is not compulsory to buy a Yamaha WaveRunner or Yamaha outboard marine engine to be eligible for a ticket in the draw – according to the fine print in the terms and conditions.

It means customers who buy a new Sea-Doo or a new Kawasaki Jet Ski and sign up to a Yamaha Motor Insurance policy by 31 January 2024 will be eligible to go into the draw to win the Yamaha WaveRunner FX HO JetFish edition.

However, when it comes to Yamaha Motor Finance, the ticket in the draw for the Yamaha WaveRunner FX HO JetFish edition only applies to customers financing a new or used Yamaha WaveRunner or Yamaha outboard.

As previously reported, the Yamaha WaveRunner JetFish edition is based on the 2023 Yamaha FX HO powered by a non-supercharged 1.8-litre engine and is equipped with a Garmin fish finder and navigation unit.

The package is valued at $27,899 excluding trailer and registration.

The complete Yamaha FX HO JetFish kit includes:

  • Garmin EchoMap UHD 65CV navigation unit and fish finder (with pre-loaded maps)
  • Garmin GT24 UHD transducer (fish-finder, depth-finder, water temperature sensor)
  • 45-litre Engel cooler box
  • Measurements on the cooler box lid to check fish length
  • Four fishing rod holders attached to cooler box
  • Yamaha ‘RecDeck’ rear deck extension
  • Retractable rear boarding ladder
  • Unique JetFish decals (two per side)

The kit adds 50kg to the weight of the Yamaha FX HO, which means the maximum payload of JetFish-equipped models is reduced from 240kg to 190kg.

Yamaha Australia unveiled the Yamaha FX HO JetFish at the 2023 Sydney Boat Show before rolling the model out to selected Yamaha WaveRunner dealerships.
