Sea-Doo Fish Pro Scout: $6600 off as it reaches end of the line

The Sea-Doo Fish Pro Scout 130 is now available at an all-time low price – up to $6600 off the full RRP – at this weekend’s Sanctuary Cove Boat Show, as dealers sell down stock of the runout model.

The Sea-Doo Fish Pro Scout 130 is available with a discount of $6600 off the full RRP at this weekend’s Sanctuary Cove Boat Show on the Gold Coast.

Australia’s biggest Sea-Doo dealer – Gold Coast based JSW Powersports – has a limited number of Sea-Doo Fish Pro Scout 130 models available for $17,814 drive-away, on a trailer and with 12 months registration.

This price is more than $4000 cheaper than the RRP of the craft alone, which is $21,964.

A trailer and registration typically add $2500, for a full drive-away price of $24,464.

This means the total savings on the JSW Powersports deal at the 2024 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show amount to $6650.

The final discounted price includes the $3500 saving off the RRP on all Fish Pro models in Sea-Doo’s current national promotion.

However, JSW has increased the discount and ripped up $3150 of its own margin to clear the remaining stock.

A representative for JSW Powersports at the 2024 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show told Watercraft Zone there are only limited numbers of the Sea-Doo Fish Pro Scout 130 available, and they weren’t expected to last the weekend.

Indeed, the Sea-Doo Fish Pro Scout 130 is amount $2000 cheaper than the Sea-Doo GTI 130 on which the Fish Pro Scout is based – but the fishing model gains a 51-litre cooler box, and Garmin navigation unit.

The Sea-Doo Fish Pro Scout 130 was added as a new entry point to the company’s fishing line-up two years ago, below the full-size Sea-Doo Fish Pro Sport 170 and flagship Sea-Doo Fish Pro Trophy 170.

While the top two fishing models are based on the larger Sea-Doo ST3 platform and have 170-horsepower engines, the Scout is based on the mid-size, entry-level GTI platform with a 130-horsepower engine.

Sea-Doo dealers in other states have told Watercraft Zone they have little to no stock left of the Sea-Doo Fish Pro Scout 130.

They said a replacement was yet to be announced by Sea-Doo – and in fact the model may not be replaced at all.

Since it was launched two years ago, Sea-Doo dealers universally said the Fish Pro Scout 130 was a great entry-level fishing craft – but it was too expensive.

It remains to be seen whether Sea-Doo will introduce a replacement for the Fish Pro Scout.

The 2025 model-year Sea-Doo watercraft are due to be unveiled in August this year.
