Jet Ski buyers in Australia are on the brink of witnessing the biggest personal watercraft pricing war since before the global pandemic.
After three years of significant price rises across the Jet Ski industry – and a lack of discounts due to chronic stock shortages and increased demand – the tide has suddenly turned.
The two biggest Jet Ski brands in Australia – Sea-Doo and Yamaha WaveRunner – are now faced with excess stock in the middle of the off-season.
While both companies have dug deep to move stock before the 2024 models are unveiled in the US in the coming weeks, Yamaha Australia has blown Sea-Doo out of the water with savings of up to $3000 combined with a low interest rate finance offer.
Normally, companies offer a distinct choice of either a cash discount or a low interest rate deal – such as is the case with Sea-Doo currently (click here for details).
However, Yamaha WaveRunner has doubled down for this weekend’s Sydney Boat Show (Thursday 3 August 2023 to Sunday 6 August 2023) with sharp discounts on the RRP combined with a 3.99 per cent finance offer.
The combined discount deal applies to all Yamaha WaveRunner models except the Yamaha SuperJet ‘stand-up’ Jet Ski and the new Yamaha FX HO JetFish edition (click here for more details on that model).

- Yamaha WaveRunner HO models (non-supercharged 1.8-litre four-cylinder)
- FX Cruiser HO: $2000 off and 3.99 per cent finance
- FX HO: $2000 off and 3.99 per cent finance
- GP1800R HO: $2000 off and 3.99 per cent finance
- VX Cruiser HO: $2000 off and 3.99 per cent finance
- Yamaha WaveRunner TR-1 models (non-supercharged 1049cc three-cylinder)
- VX Limted: $1000 off and 3.99 per cent finance
